Meant as a compliment to our flagship La Gran Flor, the LGF-B is meant to be exotically aromatic, richly textured and built to last for 6-8 years. Planted high on the Royal Slope at just under 1,700ft, this vineyard is farmed one cluster per shoot on a planting of just over 1,800 plants per acre. Fermented in once and twice used French oak 300L barrels through the end of primary. Sulfured and transferred into a 15hl French oak round, where it was kept for an additional 5+ months before bottling.
