The 2020 La Gran Flor Blanc was harvested at night and whole cluster pressed. The wine was then fermented exclusively in 100% new French oak LUMEN barrels that are proprietary to our owner and winemaker. The combination of aromatic intensity, palate presence and staggering length make this the finest La Gran Flor Blanc produced to date.

In 2020, there were typical budbreak and warm growing conditions, though wildfires raised concerns about smoke taint depending on vineyard locations. Despite this, the season produced exceptional growing conditions with high phenolic material, resulting in plush wines with good aging potential. Sauvignon Blanc whites were particularly outstanding. However, fall freeze events in late October ended the growing season statewide.
