Rich notes of honeycomb, brioche, lemon zest and white peach. Swirling adds spun sugar and light bloomed baking spices. The palate is dense and lively with pithy citrus and tart stone fruits. The finish is long and lifted with chalky minerality and a lingering of crème brulée. There is ample structure for beautiful long-term development but this drinks vibrantly now.

In 2022, a cool and moist spring contributed to an abundant crop with larger canopies. Increased summer temperatures aided in ripening the crop. Fall remained clear until mid-October, when rain arrived in Walla Walla valley and the Columbia basin. The vintage features high anthocyanin levels and great textural depth, promising plush, elegant wines with good aging potential.
