The palate is ripe and tense at the same time due to the whole cluster inclusion. Hints of bacon fat and pressed black fruits carry through to a floral and long structured finish.

In 2022, a cool and moist spring contributed to an abundant crop with larger canopies. Increased summer temperatures aided in ripening the crop. Fall remained clear until mid-October, when rain arrived in Walla Walla valley and the Columbia basin. The vintage features high anthocyanin levels and great textural depth, promising plush, elegant wines with good aging potential.
